Koh The Pho is an island between the Chaopraya River and Sakaekrang River. Not wellknown to tourists, the island is quiet, peaceful, full of nature such as bamboo trees, corn and rice farms. Because there are not many cars on the island, it is a good place to explore on bicycle.

The locals lifestyle is simple on the island. Many people earn their living by selling fruits cultivated in their own gardens, with several fruits being preserved for export. Some people are very active in the national OTOP program (One Tambon One Product). The islands famous OTOP products are handmade incenses, candles and a variety of aroma-therapy products, as well as baskets and mats made from bamboo trees. It is a nice place to explore, off the beaten track, so to say.
